Cruise Research
As I reviewed Complete Guide to Cruising & Cruise Ships , it dawned on me exactly how important it is to consult multiple sources as you prepare for your cruise.
If you know that some particular aspect of cruising could make or break your cruise experience, you need to take it upon yourself to do more extensive research. For example, if you don’t ever want to don formal wear, but want to eat in the main dining room, be diligent researching the cruise lines that offer this more casual option.
Don’t rely on just one source. Most of the cruise lines have FAQ’s on their sites and some even have boards where previous passengers contribute information. Read between the lines and try to get a sense of whether the poster values the same amenities that you do.
We have decided that the book review is worthy of a podcast, so stay tuned for that.
