Crown Princess St. John’s Symphony
One of the most entertaining events of the cruise was the concert performed for us as we departed St. John’s, Newfoundland. The fog shrouded the harbor and we couldn’t see our hands in front of us, but the show had to go on, even though our ship didn’t.
Take a listen to the music played by horns from a variety of ships.
[display_podcast] Don’t know if the fog muffled the sounds or we missed some of the nuances because we remained stationary. (You know how the Doppler Effect changes pitch.) Obviously, some folks on board didn’t know not to clap between movements, but it was still a good time. Even better was the fact that we found the “secret” passage to the bow of the ship.
